1. About Self Shot VR and these terms

Self Shot VR, Inc. is a Delaware corporation developing a publishing platform for immersive adult media.

These Terms of Use cover our current pre-launch website, mailing list, publishing applications, and related inquiries. The platform is not yet open for public accounts, uploads, streaming, or purchases. Information about future features and launch plans may change. We will provide the applicable terms before making additional services available.

Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how we handle information collected through the website and our communications.

2. Eligibility and accurate information

Our mailing list and publishing application process are for adults aged 18 or older who are legally able to make the relevant request. Provide accurate information, use contact details you are authorized to use, and obtain permission before applying or making an inquiry on behalf of a business or another person.

3. Mailing list and applications

Joining the mailing list requests Self Shot VR launch and platform updates. You may unsubscribe by emailing privacy@selfshotvr.com or using the unsubscribe option provided in a message.

Submitting a publishing application allows us to review the information and portfolio links you provide and contact you about your application. We may request further information or decline an application. You may withdraw an application by contacting privacy@selfshotvr.com.

An application, acknowledgement, or discussion does not create a publishing agreement, employment relationship, partnership, or commitment to admit you to the platform. We do not guarantee a launch date, approval, earnings, or future commercial terms.

4. Fees and payments

Joining the mailing list and submitting an application are free. Self Shot VR does not currently accept customer payments, so there are no current purchases to cancel or refund. Any future paid service will have its own purchase, billing, and refund terms before payment. Contact support@selfshotvr.com about any charge represented as a Self Shot VR purchase.

5. Your submissions and our website

You retain your rights in the information you submit. You permit us to receive, store, review, and use it as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to your request, subject to our Privacy and Cookie Policy. Providing a portfolio link does not give us permission to publish or sell the linked material or use your name as an endorsement.

Provide only information relevant to your inquiry or application. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

We or our licensors own the rights in the website's branding, design, text, and software. You may view the website and use its public forms for their intended purposes. Other uses require permission unless permitted by law.

6. Appropriate use and support

Use the website and contact channels lawfully. Do not submit false or unauthorized information, infringe another person's rights, send spam or malicious software, or attempt to gain unauthorized access or disrupt the website. We may restrict misuse of the site or decline submissions that violate these terms.

7. Availability and responsibility

We may update, interrupt, or discontinue the pre-launch website and its mailing-list or application processes. External websites, including linked portfolios, operate under their own terms and policies; we do not control them.

To the extent permitted by law, the current free website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without additional warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on an unconfirmed launch plan, application outcome, or future business opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Changes, governing law, and contact

We will publish updated terms with their effective date and provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required by law. Updated terms will not retroactively authorize a charge or an unrelated use of information already collected. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.

Delaware law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to contact a regulator or bring a claim in a court that has jurisdiction. Contact legal@selfshotvr.com with questions about these terms.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Self Shot VR, Inc., a Delaware corporation, operates selfshotvr.com. Contact privacy@selfshotvr.com with privacy questions, requests, or mailing-list opt-outs.

This policy covers visitors to our current pre-launch website, mailing-list subscribers, publishing applicants, and people who contact us. Public participation currently consists of expressions of interest and applications. If additional services become available, we will provide the relevant notices before collecting new categories of information through them.

2. Information you provide

Mailing list. We collect your email address and, if supplied, your name and selected interest, such as viewer, creator, studio, or launch updates. We record the submission time, source, contact preferences, and related administrative information.

Publishing applications. We collect the fields you submit, which may include applicant type, display or brand name, contact name and email, country or region, portfolio and other links, publishing background, preferred formats, catalog size, readiness, message, and rights and documentation acknowledgements. We also create an application reference and keep review status, notes, and relevant correspondence. We may review the websites or portfolios you identify to evaluate your application; those websites have their own privacy practices.

Correspondence. If you contact us, we receive your contact details, message, attachments you choose to send, and our response history. Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

3. Information collected when you visit

Our website collects technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, pages visited, referring websites, timestamps, and browser identifiers. We use this information to operate and secure the site and understand how people use it.

We use our own analytics and services including PostHog to understand website visits and interactions and improve the site. PostHog receives technical information about your browser and website activity. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, or the contents of applications and messages to PostHog.

We also send IP addresses to IPinfo to obtain approximate location and network information, such as country, region, and network provider. This is based on your internet connection and does not access your device's GPS location.

4. Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies and similar browser storage to support website sessions, keep forms secure, and measure website use. Essential cookies support the site's operation and security. Analytics cookies and identifiers help us and PostHog relate visits and interactions. Some browser storage persists across visits until it expires or you clear it.

You can block or remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage can interfere with form submission and other website functions. Clearing browser storage does not by itself delete information already received by us or a provider. The current site does not offer a separate analytics-preferences panel and does not automatically change its collection in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. You may contact privacy@selfshotvr.com about applicable privacy choices. We do not operate third-party behavioral-advertising pixels on the current website.

5. Why we use information

We use the information relevant to each purpose to operate and secure the website, process expressions of interest, evaluate publishing applications, send requested Self Shot VR updates, respond to inquiries, maintain contact preferences, prevent spam and abuse, understand website use, improve the application experience, and meet applicable legal obligations or resolve disputes.

We do not sell our mailing list or applicant contact information, use those submissions for unrelated marketing, or publish an applicant's information as a public profile. Applying does not subscribe you to unrelated third-party promotions. Where consent is legally required for a particular use, a visit or an application is not a substitute for that consent.

6. Who receives information

Authorized personnel and service providers receive information needed to perform their roles. We use MojoHost for hosting, Twilio SendGrid for website email delivery, PostHog for analytics, and IPinfo for approximate location and network information. Our business email provider handles messages sent to our contact addresses.

Providers may also process information for their own operational or legal purposes under applicable law and their service terms. You can read more in the PostHog privacy notice, IPinfo privacy policy, and Twilio privacy notice. These notices supplement our explanation of how we use those services.

We may disclose relevant information when required by law or valid legal process, or when otherwise legally permitted and reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, obtain professional advice, or establish or defend a claim. If the business is transferred or reorganized, relevant information may pass to a successor subject to applicable law and the restrictions and notice requirements that apply. A business transfer does not itself authorize unrelated marketing. We may also disclose information at your direction where lawful.

7. Retention and removal

We retain mailing-list information while maintaining the updates you requested, and application information while evaluating your interest and conducting relevant follow-up. We retain correspondence and technical records as reasonably necessary for their stated operational, security, and legal purposes. Retention depends on the status of your request, ongoing communications, whether information is still needed, and applicable legal requirements. The current pre-launch system does not have a general automatic deletion date for these records.

You may ask us to remove your mailing-list entry, withdraw an application, or delete personal information by contacting privacy@selfshotvr.com. We handle these requests manually and assess what can be deleted and what limited information must or may lawfully remain. For example, we may keep a minimal suppression record so we do not add you back to a mailing list, or retain relevant evidence of a dispute or legal obligation. We do not treat those exceptions as permission to retain every record for an unrelated purpose. Deletion from an active system does not necessarily mean immediate removal from all provider systems or backups; any continued retention remains subject to applicable requirements.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

To stop promotional updates, email privacy@selfshotvr.com with “Unsubscribe” from the address receiving the messages, or use any unsubscribe option supplied in the message. You do not need an account or a fee. We honor opt-outs promptly and within the applicable legal deadline. Necessary responses to an application, privacy request, or legal issue may continue as relevant; they will not be used to disguise promotional messages.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to know or access the information we hold, correct it, request deletion or a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of specified uses or disclosures, or appeal a decision. Send requests to privacy@selfshotvr.com with enough information to understand the request and locate the relevant record. You may ask an authorized representative to act for you where permitted by law.

We may reasonably verify identity or authority for a request that would disclose, change, or delete personal information, using information proportionate to the request. Do not send a government ID with your initial email. We do not require unnecessary identity verification for an unsubscribe request. We will explain our response and any lawful limitation. To request a further review, reply with “Privacy appeal.” You may also complain to your applicable privacy regulator. We do not retaliate against the exercise of a protected privacy right.

9. International visitors, security, and minors

We operate from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries in which they operate. Applicable privacy protections can differ. We remain responsible for any notice, lawful basis, transfer safeguard, or other obligation that applies to our processing; use of the website alone does not waive your local privacy rights.

We use access restrictions and technical and administrative measures intended to protect information. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Report a suspected problem to support@selfshotvr.com without sending passwords or accessing someone else's information.

Our mailing list and application process are for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact privacy@selfshotvr.com so we can investigate and handle the information as required by law.

10. Policy updates and contact

We will post changes with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Updated wording does not retroactively authorize an incompatible use of information.
